As noted before, WWE held a town hall meeting on Monday for their staff featuring WWE President Nick Khan, TKO CFO Andrew Schleimer, and TKO COO and President Mark Shapiro as the speakers.
Post Wrestling’s Brandon Thurston and Jason Ounpraseuth reported that Post Wrestling had obtained audio from this town hall meeting from their sources that revealed additional topics that were discussed.
On the topic of WWE’s upcoming Night of Champions 2026 event this June in Saudi Arabia, Khan stated that WWE was monitoring the situation in the Middle East and will only be going if its safe or if they are allowed there. Khan also stated that WWE would only run their Night of Champions 2026 event in Saudi Arabia and will not be holding RAW and SmackDown shows there as part of that weekend.
“We’re only going if it’s safe or if we’re allowed there.
We are monitoring with our heads of security internally and with our government affairs folks externally, the situation there. If U.S. citizens are allowed in at this moment in time, it is declared and deemed safe, we’ll all be going there.
Saudi is deeply desirous of getting WWE back there and getting events restarted, especially those that come from the United States.”
Khan also gave his thoughts about WWE running WrestleMania events in Las Vegas for two years in a row.
“That was ultimately my decision. “Maybe we don’t do that one again in terms of back-to-back, but ultimately it ended up being a successful event.”
Khan also teased an upcoming location announcement for WrestleMania 44 in 2028.
“Wait until you hear the announcement on where we’re going to be for WrestleMania in 2028.”
On the topic of WWE’s usage of artificial intelligence (AI) for creative purposes, Schleimer stated that they have only run tests and pilots and are still in the early stages of using AI. Schleimer also gave his thoughts about using AI for data and analytics on WWE and UFC consumers and to enhance broadcasts of their shows.
Shapiro responded stating the company’s embrace of AI being a “major priority” and emphasized how AI could help employees become more efficient and productive. Shapiro also stated how the UFC uses AI for fighter rankings and revealed WWE’s usage of AI for storylines.
“Nick Khan and Triple H are using AI for storylines with the WWE. What’s resonating? What superstars are resonating? In what pockets of the country are they resonating? That helps us with, obviously, our content, our editorial, our creative, our mapping, our touring, and of course, maximizing revenue and getting our product out to the fans most in need of it.”
