Montreal Reportedly Heavy Favorite To Host AEW Redemption Event

As noted before, AEW is currently expected to be holding a new pay-per-view event called AEW Redemption at some point in 2026.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Montreal, Quebec, Canada is currently the heavy favorite to be the host location for this upcoming new event. No potential venue was stated for this upcoming new event but the Bell Centre would be a likely choice.

It was reported that this event is also likely expected to be taking place during this summer. AEW currently does not have a PPV event scheduled to take place this June or July for this year’s PPV events schedule.

It was also reported that an official announcement is expected to be made in the coming weeks.
