Royce Keys Comments on Not Going To NXT For His WWE Career Start

Unseen’s Joey Karni held a recent interview with Royce Keys. One of the topics discussed included Keys’ thoughts about having to live up to the expectations of him making his debut on the main roster for his WWE career.

“It just meant a lot, just thinking about the names that came before you, living up to expectations. So, and while doing that, you got to create your own path. I did that. I mean, I made an impact in the (Royal) Rumble. It’s in history now. So, now we move forward and progress and take everything I want.”

Keys also gave his thoughts about how WWE had already laid out a plan for him to skip working in NXT and go straightly to the main roster after his debut at this past January’s Royal Rumble 2026 event. Keys also gave his thoughts about him having past history with Jacob Fatu.

“Jacob Fatu and I have a history together. I’ve known that family for quite a while. So, The Usos, Solo, I’ve known that family a long time. So, there is some history there.”

“I’ve Arrived. #WWENXT”

Ricky Saints Gives Farewell Message To NXT After April 28th WWE NXT Show

This past Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center featured Shiloh Hill defeating Ricky Saints in a singles match. This match was notable for being Saints’ final match in the NXT brand due to his upcoming official call-up to WWE’s SmackDown brand.

WWE recently released a new video featuring Saints giving a farewell speech to the crowd and NXT brand following this past Tuesday’s NXT show.

“I should be thanking you. I should be thanking the people in the production truck. All of them. February 7, I stood up there and I talked my stuff, and you guys welcomed me and you chanted ‘Ricky Starks’, and you made sure I remembered who I was. On the 11th, I had my match, and then a few months after that, I won the North American Championship. I want you to understand something, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I came here, but you welcomed me.

I’d be lying if I said this was all a very easy transition, but it was not and that is okay, that’s how it gets sometimes, but at the end of the day, I came out here, I busted my ass, I made sure that I did what was needed for business. You guys repaid me with love, with stroke, with buying the shirts, with all of that. I don’t think that I would even get this far had it not been for the people here, and definitely for the people in the back …

So, if this is the last time that you may see me in this NXT ring, then thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I would hope that this Friday on SmackDown, I would hope that you’d watch me there too.”

Air Conditioning Issues Reportedly Caused Fan Discomfort at April 27th WWE RAW Show

KGNS News reported that fans who had attended this past Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas dealt with discomfort caused by excessive heat from air conditioning issues.

It was reported that several of those who had attended the event had complained about the heat inside the venue during the show.

It was also reported that District 5 council member Ruben Gutierrez stated that the arena had lost power around 2PM local time prior to the event. Gutierrez also stated that this power outage was restored a few hours later but the WWE’s production for the show compounded the issues of the AC not being able to properly cool down the venue.

“By 4 p.m., of course, WWE is setting up stuff there, fire going on inside there, fireworks going on to make sure stuff is working, heating up the place. Once the doors opened up at 5:30, the doors are open again, letting over 8,000 people in there. The AC is just going out, going out, going out, and the AC just could not recoup fast enough with 8,000 people in there, pyrotechnics going on inside the arena.”

It was reported that despite complaints from fans in attendance, the Laredo Fire Department stated they received no calls from the arena and no illnesses or injuries were reported related to heat issues.
