As noted before, Chris Jericho was expected to be absent from Wednesdayβs AEW Dynamite show in Fairfax, Virginia due to him being in New York City for the filming of a television project. While Jericho did not make an in-person appearance, he did appear in a backstage video that aired during the show that led to him being attacked by The Demand’s Ricochet, Toa Liona, & Bishop Kaun.
Jericho’s television project was recently revealed to be him set to be making an appearance on the second season of Dexter: Resurrection.
Photos of Jericho on the set of the filming were recently released.

Jericho’s role in the upcoming new season is currently not known but DexterDaily.com speculated that he could be portraying an one-episode antagonist based on the set photos.
It is currently not known when Jericho is set to return to AEW following his filming commitments.
