Ricochet Challenges Jericho to Stadium Stampede Match at AEW Double or Nothing 2026

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision three-hour show also featured one new potential match for the card of Double or Nothing 2026, which takes place on May 24th at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York.

This new potential match is a Stadium Stampede match of The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona, & Bishop Kaun) & two mystery partners vs. Chris Jericho, The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley), & two mystery partners.

This new potential match was setup over recent weeks shows over Jericho’s bad blood issues with Ricochet and The Demand. During tonight’s show, Jericho came out to the ring and called out Ricochet.

This led to Ricochet and the rest of The Demand coming out to ring. After some insults mocking Jericho and how nobody wants him in AEW, Ricochet issued a challenge to Jericho for a Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing. Ricochet mocked Jericho saying the last time he was in one of those matches, he had to pay people to have his back and that didn’t work out so well for him. Jericho responded back first insulting Ricochet and then accepted the match. This led to a brawl breaking out that ended with The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin running out to save Jericho and cleared The Demand out of the ring revealing they would be two of Jericho’s partners.

Darby Allin Issues Hair vs. AEW World Title Challenge to MJF

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision three-hour show also featured AEW World Champion Darby Allin issuing a special stipulation for MJF’s request for a title shot.

Following Allin’s victory over Kevin Knight to retain the AEW World title, MJF’s music played to interrupt the celebrations. MJF came out to the ring and once again demanded Allin give him a rematch for the title. Allin responded back stating he will only do so if MJF puts something on the line. MJF responded offering to give Allin $1 million, which Allin refused and issued his own stipulation of MJF having to put his hair on the line if he wants the match. Allin told MJF that next week they will have a match contract signing to confirm it and if MJF doesn’t show up, then he will never get another shot again. A concerned MJF refused to answer and walked away instead.
