Dave LaGreca Comments on SiriusXM’s Pro Wrestling Nation Channel Becoming WWE Radio & Says Busted Open Radio Will Not Change Under WWE Radio

As noted before, WWE announced on Thursday that they recently signed a new partnership deal with SiriusXM for the launch of a new WWE Radio channel on July 27 on the service. This new radio channel will be replacing the existing Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7 channel, which features Busted Open Radio and several other wrestling-related podcast and radio shows.

Busted Open Radio’s main host Dave LaGreca reflected on Thursday on Twitter about the upcoming launch of WWE Radio and his show being part of the new channel. LaGreca also claimed that Busted Open Radio will not change under the WWE Radio banner.

“Starting Monday, July 27, we will be WWE Radio. Every show is going to be the exact same that you know and love – Busted Open, Notsam Wrestling Live, Off The Ropes, Busted Open After Dark. But now we’re going to have the TV simulcast of Raw, of SmackDown, of NXT. We’re going to have original SiriusXM productions of every major WWE PLE, homegrown right here on SiriusXM. Plus, Stephanie McMahon’s podcast, Cody Rhodes, The Undertaker, Sam & Megan [Morant] – all here.
I cannot believe that a show that started for one hour, one day a week is now going to be partnered with the greatest pro wrestling company, the biggest pro wrestling company – not just now but ever in this great sport. And make no mistake about it, if you think I’m letting the foot off the gas, if you think you’re not going to get what you’re used to hearing from Dave LaGreca on a daily basis. You think I’m going to stop ranting? No!”

Four New Matches Announced for CMLL Grand Prix 2026

This past Wednesday’s CMLL Informa show featured four new matches announced for the card of this year’s Grand Prix event, which takes place on August 7 at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

The new matches announced were:

Flip Gordon & Yutani vs. Difunto & Valiente Jr.
Tessa Blanchard & Thunder Rosa vs. Persephone & Olympia

Thursday’s TNA Impact! show on AMC and Sportsnet 360 featured The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) defeating The Righteous in a Righteous Deletion match to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championship. This match was notable for a spot involving The Righteous tossing The Hardys into the Lake of Reincarnation and after The Hardys reemerged, Jeff went back into the lake and came back out as his past “The Anticrist” persona in TNA. Jeff was also seen holding his custom TNA Immortal Championship from his run as TNA World Champion in 2010.

WrestleCon recently announced that they have pulled Julia Hart from their upcoming WrestleCon: Destination Minneapolis convention on July 31 to August 2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota due to Hart’s current commitments with Stardom for this year’s 5STAR Grand Prix tournament.

WrestleCon also recently announced that Thea Trinadad, former Zelina Vega in WWE, will be making an appearance for the company at their WrestleCon: Destination Minneapolis convention on July 31 to August 2 in Minneapolis.

Beyond Wrestling recently announced that they have pulled Eddie Kingston from their upcoming Americanrana 2026 event on August 28 due to a scheduling conflict with Kingston’s commitments with CMLL in Mexico that same day.

Coastal Championship Wrestling recently announced that former AEW Dark and current indies talent Ashley D’Amboise will making an appearance for the company at their Game of War event on July 25 in Port St. Luice, Florida. It was announced that D’Ambroise will be facing off against Sara Wilder at the event. This will be D’Ambroise’s first match since August of 2024 following her taking a lengthy hiatus from her in-ring wrestling career.

A new trailer for the upcoming new live action animated film Coyote vs. Acme starring John Cena was recently released.

Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that Nick Gage will be making an appearance for the company at their 20 Years Of Bad Boy event on August 8 in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
