Baron Corbin vs. Trick Williams for WWE United States Title Set for WWE SummerSlam 2026

WWE announced one new match for the card of SummerSlam 2026, which takes place on August 1-2 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This new match announced was a WWE United States Championship match of Baron Corbin vs. Trick Williams (c).

Following the end of Friday’s WWE SmackDown show, Corbin ran out and attacked Williams after Williams had competed in a Fatal Four-way Qualifier match for the Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender match at SummerSlam.

As Corbin was making his way to the back, Williams grabbed a microphone and challenged Corbin for a match and would put his WWE United States title on the line. This match was made official by WWE.
