As noted before, Bayley’s contract with WWE is currently set to expire at the end of this year. The July 20th WWE RAW show in Detroit, Michigan featured Valkyria announcing that she had dropped the dead weight and claimed to have ran Bayley out of WWE after her victory and attack on Bayley at the July 18th WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show.
Bayley recently released a new vlog on Instagram featuring a behind-the-scenes look at her match against Valkyria at the July 18th WWE Saturday Night Main Event show. One of the topics discussed included Bayley giving her thoughts about the future of her wrestling career and how she knows her place and worth in the wrestling business.
“It’s a big moment for both of us. Just to wrestle inside the Garden, perform inside of the Garden is obviously like bucket list for a lot of performers. Whether you’re in sports, or you’re a musician, or you’re in the WWE — yeah, it’s a big deal anytime you get to be a part of it. I’ve been doing this for so long and I’ve wrestled in the Garden multiple times — a really good amount of times, thankfully. But this one just feels different. I think the time and the stage I am in my career right now, I feel like I’m taking a further look back at everything, or seeing it from a different view and knowing my place in this business and knowing my worth in this business. And Lyra’s going to find out the hard way, let’s just say that.”
