As noted before, New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston departed from WWE this past May following a mutual decision from both sides over New Day not accepting a new restructured deal offer to stay in the company. AEW has been very interested in potentially signing Woods and Kingston following their departures from WWE. Woods and Kingston revealed this past May that they will be going by the ring names of Austin Creed and Kofi going forward for their post-WWE careers.
Creed and Kofi posted an animated video earlier today on Twitter hyping up the upcoming free agency.
This animated short video was titled “Daybreak” and features two unicorns breaking free from the circus. As the two unicorns are leaving, a third unicorn, implied to be Big E, with a broken horn gives them a farewell nod.
This video ends with the two unicorns transforming into Kofi and Creed and them walking off into the sunset as their unicorn horns lie on the ground.

Creed stated that this animated video was directed and designed by Jonathan Davenport.
