Joey Janela & Megan Bayne Pulls Out Of 9/13 PRODUCE Volume 4 Event and Janela Announces He Is No Longer Working With PRODUCE

Former AEW and current Game Changer Wrestling and indies talent Joey Janela x.com/JANELABABY/status/2084706044677095504 on Tuesday on Twitter that he and Megan Bayne have pulled out of their upcoming co-produced Volume 4: Janelasus Rex! event for PRODUCE Wrestling on September 13 in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Janela also announced that a new curator will be appointed for this upcoming event for PRODUCE.

In a follow-up tweet, Janela also announced that he will no longer be working for or with PRODUCE going forward.

In response to fan questions online, Janela stated in a series of tweets that the reason why he is no longer working with PRODUCE is due to issues involving the promotion’s owner Adam Abdalla. Janela also posted a screenshot of his texts with Adballa that led to the breakdown in their working relationship.

“Some of the biggest losers on social media are vague posting clowns so I’d like to provide some context for the falling out between Me and Adam (orange crush)

Adam has to learn how to speak to people, he was a great friend of mine also just a great guy but somewhere within the last year or 2 that changed. He’s become someone that has been absolutely unhinged, deplorable and embarrassing to others around him including his friends. Many wrestlers have had conversations with me & others regarding his delusional behavior and way he talks down to them,” Janela added.

Yesterday I woke up at 4:30 am to catch a normal flight to JFK. When I went to check in I saw the flight was cancelled. Figuring Brett was asleep and Adam was up on drugs, I hit him up since I was heading to his show to figure out new flight options. I hit him up and we quickly realized nothing in the tri-state was available.

He asked me if I could fly to midway to find something but everything was booked there too, he sent me a flight which I thought was Minneapolis-Chicago-connection- Philadelphia then a uber from Philly to NYC, in which I replied ‘I ain’t doing all that'”

PRODUCE responded addressing the situation.

“It’s been a long 24 hours. Some people don’t like us because we have a sharp tongue, short fuse and speak truth to power. But we do this because we love the people who make the business possible. The talent and crew. Even if they dont always love us haha. Thank you everyone for making last night possible. It was our proudest moment in this business. Till the wheels fall off.”
