WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE currently has plans in place for the 2029 SummerSlam event to take place at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This would be part of WWE’s deal with the Indiana Sports Corp in June of 2024 that would bring a WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble events to the Lucas Oil Stadium in the city.
This would also be the second event out of the required three for the deal, following the first being the 2025 Royal Rumble event.
