Lady Shani Suffers Injury

Friday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Lady Shani suffering an apparent injury.

During the start of the Six-Person Tag Team match between Adelicious, Mascarita Sagrada, & Mini Vikingo and Shani, Jack Cartwheel, & Mini Abismo Negro, Shani fell to the ground and held her face as the referee went to check on her. This led to the match being paused as medics came out to attend to Shani and the rest of the competitors just standing around for some time before the match was resumed.

Shani was attended to at ringside by the medics and did not return to the match and instead was helped to the back turning the Six-Person match into an impromptu 3-on-2 Handicap match for the remainder of it.

The nature nor severity of Lady Shani’s injury is currently known.

Panic Clown Not Cleared To Compete at AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1

Friday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 event also featured the announcement of Panic Clown not being medically cleared to compete.

During the pre-show arrivals segment, Pyscho Circus was shown walking backstage with Panic Clown being missing and instead Psycho Clown being in his place. AAA English commentator Corey Graves announced that Panic Clown was not medically cleared to compete and Psycho Clown would be replacing him for Psycho Circus’ AAA World Trios Championship title defense against Perros Del Mal on the show.

Marisela Pena To Be Inducted Into AAA Hall of Fame For 2026 Class

Friday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 event also featured the announcement of former AAA owner and current AAA President Mariela Pena will be getting inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame for this year’s class at this October’s Heroes Inmortales 2026 event in Mexico City, Mexico.

Roxanne Perez Earns Shot at AAA Reina de Reinas Title for Worlds Collide 2026

Friday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 event also featured Roxanne Perez defeating La Hiedra, Nattie, and Faby Apache in a #1 Contender Fatal Four-way match for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.

As a result of her victory, Perez will be facing off against the winner of La Catalina/Flamer for the AAA Reina de Reinas title at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, which takes place on September 26 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Perros del Mal Wins AAA World Trios Titles

Friday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 event also featured Perros del Mal (Daga, Angel, & Berto) defeating Psycho Circus (Dave the Clown, Murder Clown, & Psycho Clown) to become the new AAA World Trios Champions.

This was Perros del Mal’s first-ever AAA World Trios Championship victory in their AAA careers.

Omos Defeats Rey Mysterio & Officially Reinstated In AAA

Friday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 event also featured Omos defeating Rey Mysterio in a singles match for the main event.

This match featured a special stipulation of if Omos won, then he would be officially reinstated from his suspension to AAA but if he lost, then he would be permanently banned from AAA.

Following the match, Omos attacked Mysterio at the urging of “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and proceeded to lay him out. As Omos, Dominik, and Dorian Roldan were leaving, medics showed up and placed Rey onto a stretcher. This led to Omos going back to the ringside area and shoved the medics away and took off Rey’s neck brace. While Rey was still strapped onto the stretcher, Omos grabbed Rey and hit a chokeslam to him through the announcer’s table.
