Laynie Luck Reportedly Not Having WWE ID Contract Renewed & Set To Become Free Agent Soon [Update: Luck Confirms WWE Departure]

Update:

Laynie Luck confirmed earlier today on Twitter that she is leaving WWE and will officially become a free agent this Friday.

“my turn to be the hottest free agent 🍀✨ i am a lucky girl and everything will work out for me ❤️‍🔥”

As noted before, this past Saturday’s Rise To Wrestling Royalty event for Reality of Wrestling in Texas City, Texas featured Monica Monroe defeating Laynie Luck to become the new WWE ID Women’s Champion. This ended Luck’s record setting 320 days as WWE ID Women’s Champion.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE will not be renewing Luck’s WWE ID contract and she is set to become a free agent this Friday.

It was reported that Luck’s WWE ID contract had expired earlier this week.

It was also reported that indies promoters that Luck appeared for had spoken highly of her willingness to wrestle any opponent and lead them through matches if need be on their shows.

Prior to her departure, Luck had been with WWE since November of 2025 and primarily worked for their WWE ID and WWE EVOLVE brands.
