A recent episode of the Being The Elite show featured The Young Bucks giving their thoughts about their appearances in Blood & Guts matches during their AEW careers and how they routinely have a “never again” mindset after each one.
Matt Jackson – “We’re about five minutes away. We were just saying there’s been a lot of high-stakes matches this year for the Young Bucks in 2026. It’s been a tough one. Challenging. Today’s Blood and Guts. This will be our third one. Because we’re a couple of psychopaths that say, ‘hey, throw us in these crazy’ matches, Tony. Why not?”
Nick Jackson – “We never say that. We say at the end of them, we go, never again.”
Matt – “They always find a way to drag you back.”
Nick – “These are stressful.”
Matt – “These are crazy and scary and gory. So, hope for the best.”
Nick – “Say a prayer for us, guys.”
The Young Bucks have competed in three Men’s Blood & Guts matches in their AEW careers with the most recent being this year’s match, which featured them teaming up with Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Steven Borden, & Darby Allin against the Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Wardlow, Kevin Knight, & Davis & Doyle (Mark Davis & Jake Doyle)).
