— Doug Furnas has passed away, according to David Haskins’ Facebook page. He was 50. Furnas competed in All Japan, ECW and WWE, and is known for his tag team with Phil Lafon aka Dan Kroffatt. We would like to give our condolences to his family and friends.
— Dragon Gate’s Open the Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano returned to the ring last night as the mystery 30th entrant in a 30 man over the top rope Gauntlet match at Absolute Intense Wrestling’s “Gauntlet for the Gold 7” in Cleveland, Ohio. Gargano won the match, last eliminating Tim Donst. The crowd gave him “welcome back” chants and Gargano did snow angels in the ring to celebrate. He had been injured ever since EVOLVE 10, when he had a back injury against Ricochet.
