— Joe Blanchard, the father of Tully Blanchard, passed away this morning at the age of 84. Blanchard owned the first promotion to run on the USA Network, Southwest Championship Wrestling, and in 2010, the NWA Legends Fanfest inducted Blanchard into their Hall of Heroes.
— The Ultimate Warrior appears for Northeast Wrestling tomorrow in Poughkeepsie, NY at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. He will do an in ring interview and also a pre-show autograph signing. — Randy Orton is being considered for the lead role in The Marine 3. Orton was originally set to star in The Marine 2 but was injured at the time and the role went to Ted DiBiase.
