» At this point, Raven and Shane Douglas are only in for last week’s set of iMPACT! tapings and the Slammiversary pay-per-view. They weren’t given long-term deals, but may be used going forward. At least in Douglas’ case, there is talk of using him as a heel manager. Both were brought back due to the theme of Slammiversary as company officials wanted to use some big stars from the early days of the company.
» TNA programming in the UK could be affected as BSkyB recently made a £160 million offer for seven TV stations including Bravo, which airs TNA Impact, TNA Epics and TNA pay-per-view broadcasts. BSkyB airs WWE programming, hence the problem. It is doubtful World Wrestling Entertainment’s deal would negatively affect UFC, but there is a good chance it would negatively affect TNA.
