Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley lost their IWGP Junior Tag Team Titles earlier today in Tokyo, Japan at the Korakuen Hall. The team of Ryusuke Taguch and Prince Devitt won the belts.
Variety has an article from Friday noting that Warner Bros. has officially purchased most of Midway Games’ assets for $33 million with no other bidders emerging. The purchase includes the “Mortal Kombat” franchise and legacy arcade games such as “Joust” and “Spy Hunter.” One license not picked up was the “TNA iMPACT” series which was in developmental for a sequel. So the future of “TNA iMPACT 2″ appears to be very much in doubt.
