WWE vs. TNA Update, No Mercy Location Revealed, More

The reason that WWE has scheduled a Smackdown/ECW show in Orlando on Sunday December 20th, the same day as a TNA PPV, is because they are taping in advance to give talent time off during the Christmas week. They are then taping Raw in Tampa on the 21st.

The 2009 WWE No Mercy PPV will be in Newark, New Jersey on October 4th. This will mark the first ever WWE PPV or Event held in the Prudential Center. Previously, the Prudential Center has hosted the UFC and Elite XC.

Bobby Lashley was in attendance at UFC 100.

Roddy Piper is filming his latest film, Opponent in Connecticut. Piper plays a priest, hell-bent on destroying an unruly alien being who has invaded a small town, Jeremy London (Party of Five and Mallrats) co-stars. Vijaya Cine Enterprises is distributing the film.
