ROH Ladder War Note, Obama Talks ‘WWF’, Lawler Update, More

As reported earlier, Eddie Edwards suffered a broken elbow at the ROH show Friday night in Boston. Edwards teamed with Davey Richards, as planned, to defend the ROH Tag Team Titles in Ladder War II last night in New York against Kevin Steen & El Generico. The guy worked a ladder match with a broken elbow. That is one tough son of a bitch.

Dragon gate USA will be announcing four new names for the November 28th title tournament. The names are said to be former WWE talents. Already confirmed are Mike Quackenbush, CIMA and Davey Richards.

President Obama was asked about the left vs. right cable news wars during a recent interview with Brian Williams and he compared the situation to “WWF wrestling.” “It feels like WWF wrestling. You know, everybody’s got their role to play.”

WREG TV has stated that they will now allow additional Mayoral candidates to participate in a debate. Jerry Lawler has been threatening to sue if he is not allowed to participate.
