Seldom seen WWE Superstar Ted DiBiase and SmackDown ring announcer Lilian Garcia participated in the LOPen Celebrity Golf Event last week to help raise money for the Akron Children’s Hospital. WWE’s “Community” website has published an article concerning their charitable endeavors.

Both SmackDown performers paid a visit to young patients at a local hospital, bringing them toys of the WWE variety.

“For those few minutes that we spend with these kids, they get to forget about [being in the hospital],” said The Marine 2 star. “They get to think about something else. It brings them hope.”

“They’re the real champions,” Garcia added.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Candice Michelle joined DiBiase and Garcia at the event, but is not acknowledged by WWE in the article.
