More On Ryback’s WWE Future + What’s Up With Kurgan?

— Robert Maillet (known to wrestling fans as Kurgan) has signed on to play the lead villain “The Master” in the planned FX series adaptation of the horror trilogy The Strain. Guillermo Del Toro co-wrote the trilogy, and will oversee the series. Del Toro had cast Maillet in Pacific Rim, and due to his work there, was offered the role for The Strain.

— As noted late last night here on the website, the current plans for Ryback will see him defeat Chris Jericho at the Money in the Bank PPV. Also, due to her losing her position as RAW GM, Vickie Guerrero will likely be paired with Ryback as his manager moving forward.
