2 Big Indy Events Planned, WWE DVDs, Flair’ Warrant

— Lovefilm in the UK (which is owned by Amazon) will be renting out WWE DVDs starting in October with the Summerslam and Night of Champions events. Lovefilm used to rent WWE titles back in the day, but had to stop in 2007 when the then rights holders (Silvervision) withdrew permission. This will be the first time that WWE material will be available to rent in the UK via a similar service.

— As noted earlier, The Associated Press picked up The Charlotte Observer’s story regarding a warrant being put out for Ric Flair’s arrest. Expect tons of media outlets to pick it up now.

— Bobby Lashley, Bob Holly, Carlito and Jake Roberts are working the September 21 MWF Anniversary event in Melrose, MA.

— Combat Zone Wrestling will be running a benefit event for CZW champ Masada, who is working on a knee that needs an ACL surgery, on Friday with the following card…
