EVOLVE News: Main Events Announced, Style Battle, More

EVOLVE announced the following today…

* AR Fox vs. Anthony Nese for the EVOLVE Title has been signed for EVOLVE 23 on September 21st in Ridgwood, NY. Fox has been a fighting champion, but Nese and his Premier Athlete Brand sent a message to him at the last DGUSA show. We will have footage of this released soon. Nese is on a win streak and that has led him to become the #1 contender for the EVOLVE Title. Will the win streak lead to the championship?

* AR Fox vs. Ricochet in the 2nd ever Evolution’s End match is set for EVOLVE 24 on September 22nd in Brooklyn, NY. This long running feud will come to a conclusion in Brooklyn. Evolution’s End follows regular rules in the ring, but on the floor there will be weapons and anything is legal. Fox won the only Evolution’s End in history by defeating Sami Callihan at EVOLVE 12 to end their violent feud.

* The 3rd Annual Style Battle tournament will take place on both EVOLVE 23 and EVOLVE 24. The format this year will see 2 Four Way Elimination Matches on September 21st. The two winners will then meet in a singles match on September 22nd. The eliminated competitors will be in a Freestyle Match on September 22nd.

We are pleased to announce almost the entire field for Style Battle. This year’s tournament will emphasize fresh faces and talent on the verge of breaking out. The theme among all these competitors is they are each evolving different styles of pro wrestling. The participants are:
