Maria Kanellis Lands A New Gig, WrestleReunion Update & More

— WrestleReunion has an event set for Hogan’s Beach in Tampa, Florida which is Hulk Hogan’s restaurant and beach establishment. Gene Okerlund, Jimmy Hart, Demolition, Koko B. Ware, Bobby Heenan and the Nasty Boys will all be there wil autographs running $30 per talent or team. A Q&A will be held for the first 100 fans in attendance. For more info go here.

— A new wrestling DVD series titled The Super Stars Super Series is set for release on October 15th. The set will include over three hours of footage including the likes of Bruiser Brody, Jerry Lawler, Eddie Gilbert and Terry Funk. You can order it here.

— Maria Kanellis has signed onto produce and appear on camera for a new wrestling-themed TV pilot titled Bobby Champion. The series is about the titular character, an eighteen year-old who is offered the main role in a wrestling promotion that is growing to a national level; the show follows his ups and downs involved with the lifestyle and stress of that world. Adam Page of ROH is playing the main character while Rick Bauer wrote the script. The show is crowd-funding later in the year; you can see more here at its Facebook page.
