John Cena Injury Update, Goldust/Rollins Hype Battleground

— Shawn Michaels’ MacMillan River Adventures returns on October 22 on The Outdoor Channel.

— John Cena’s currently on track for an early 2014 return. He will make “special appearances” at WWE live events in December but won’t wrestle. WWE wants Cena to be healthy in time for Wrestlemania and thinks he’ll be back in action for the Royal Rumble.

— Goldust and Seth Rollins both tweeted about their tag team match at Battleground on Sunday.

Goldust wrote: “On the horizon!! Retribution! The @WWERomanReigns and @WWERollins go down at #Battleground ! #FamilyStrong @WWE”

Rollins added: “Met a lifelong goal of stomping The American Dream into the ground on Raw. #WWEBattleground sweetens the pot. Justice is thicker than blood.”
