A source close to the WWE NXT production team reports that the company could be giving WWE NXT a live special on the WWE Network within the first few months of the network’s launch. The plan is to treat the live special as if it were a NXT pay-per-view.
WWE announced last night during their CES presentation on the network that weekly episodes of WWE NXT will air there and positioned the development brand as an important part of the network launch.
UPDATE: Triple H announced during the WWE NXT TV taping for this week, which is currently ongoing in Winter Park, Florida, that WWE NXT TV will air live on the network starting on February 27th.
