As we reported late last night here on the website, there is an arrest warrant for Ric Flair in North Carolina. The warrant was issued in July of 2013, and is for contempt of court following Flair not paying close to $33,000 in legal fees and support to his most recent ex-wife, Jacqueline. Fair has been living in two locations for the past six months, in Atlanta, GA (where his girlfriend, the former “WCW Fifi the Maid” resides) and Tampa, FL (where he has been living with former WCW star Joe Gomez as a way to be near his daughter, current WWE NXT star Charlotte).
The charge is a misdemeanor, but the warrant calls for Flair’s immediate arrest with the stipulation that he not be released until the complete amount he owes is paid off. This would also be the main reason that Flair is not attending this weekend’s Carolina Panthers game in Charlotte; he would run the risk of being arrested while there.
