“Rowdy” Roddy Piper has had some issues with WWE for almost a year now as a result of WWE’s taping of the Legends House reality show.
WWE wanted all talent who appeared on the show to sign a contract stating they wouldn’t work any other pro wrestling or MMA shows before the reality show airs. The show was taped over a year ago and still hasn’t aired. Because it took so long to air, Piper refused to sign the deal. He didn’t want to be absent from MMA shows because his son is a fighter and Piper wanted to use his name and likeness to help his son if he needed to.
Piper and WWE officials didn’t resolve their problems until six weeks ago, as WWE wanted Piper for Wrestlemania 30. This is also why Piper was not included in the WWE 2K14 video game.
