— There was a recent post on MySpace from someone posing as Evan Bourne that claimed he was fined $2,500 by WWE and frustrated with his push. A source close to the WWE Superstar confirmed that Bourne did not write that post, reports prowrestling.net. Likewise, Bourne did not write a post claiming he signed a new five-year contract with WWE. That said, he has at least one year remaining on his current deal.

— The December 4, 2009 edition of Friday Night SmackDown scored an anemic 1.79 broadcast rating for myNetworkTV. The show saw World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker call-out Batista and The Hart Dynasty defeat Eric Escobar in a Handicap Match.

— Goldust is today’s “Superstar of the Day” on WWE.com while Melina is the “Daily Diva.”
