Several site readers have sent word to us that a promotional advertisement by TNA featuring Hulk Hogan was featured on WGN America during Superstars Thursday night promoting their live January 4th TNA iMPACT! special. It should be noted that TNA only had an opportunity to promote this big live event on two broadcasts; on the December 18th edition of iMPACT! and then the Final Resolution pay-per-view that weekend. There was no broadcast last night on SpikeTV. It’ll be plugged next week on their New Year’s Eve Knockout special, but it is unknown how many viewers will watch the program considering it is the night many people go out to celebrate the new year.
When Mickie James jumped on Michelle McCool last night on SmackDown! and the brawl spilled onto the announce table, Matt Stiker mumbled, “Good thing this table is reinforced.” This was obviously yet another backhanded comment towards Mickie James’ weight.
Jeff Jarrett will be back on the road with TNA for live events beginning early 2010.
