WWE began selling new CM Punk-branded merchandise during WrestleMania 30. Whether Punk is making any profit off of it isn’t known, as it’s a potentially sticky legal situation depending on copyrights and contract status. According to sources, Punk essentially breached his contract by walking out on WWE, which would allow the company to sell their existing merchandise inventory. As for new content being produced and sold while he isn’t active, that’s a bit different.
Steve Austin has said that he didn’t make any money for the merchandise sold when he walked out. That being said, the company didn’t produce new Austin merchandise during that hiatus.
