It was announced by Stephanie McMahon on Monday night’s edition of WWE RAW that Daniel Bryan would be defending his newly won WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Kane at the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
The match was announced by Stephanie as a “wedding gift” to Bryan, who just recently married his longtime girlfriend, Brie Bella.
After the announcement, Kane, who is once again wearing his mask, attacked Bryan, hitting him with three Tombstones. One of the Tombstone piledrivers was on the ringside steps, while the other was on top of the RAW announce table.
WWE Extreme Rules takes place live on May 4th at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
