Zeb Colter has announced on Twitter that Amelia’s Law will go into effect on July 1. The law was created after his granddaughter was killed by a drunk driver who fled from police in 2012. According to the website, Amelia’s Law is “a law which would keep repeat offenders behind bars if they have shown to be a danger to the public.”
