Sheamus Talks Training Schedule, Billy Gunn Note, More

— Tonight is in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, match #2 of the Best-of-Seven series between NWA World heavyweight Champion Colt Cabana and Adam Pearce will take place. The New England Championship Wrestling promotion is putting on the second match in the NWA Title series, which Cabana currently leads 1-0. The bout will be a Boston Street Fight.

— Billy Gunn (Kip James) is advertised for the main event of an Ohio Championship Wrestling show Saturday in Heath, Ohio. The event is an outside show, advertised as a fundraiser for the local Ronald McDonald House. Gunn is scheduled to face OCW Heavyweight champion Kaden Assad in the main event.

— Sheamus recently spoke to delmarvanow.com about his training program on WWE’s non-stop schedule. Here is what he had to say… “I don’t train in the ring much anymore because we do so many events that it’s easy to stay in ring condition. Outside of the ring, I usually do extensive cardio five or six days a week, a lot of weight lifting and Olympic lifts, also about five days a week. It’s important to get rest for your body as well, so I get as much rest as I can. If I feel tired I will allow myself to take a day off, because rest and recovery is just as important as training,”
