Rey Mysterio To Sign A New WWE Contract?, + More

UPDATE: Rey Mysterio is expected to sign a new contract with WWE once his current deal expires. While there had been rumors of Mysterio leaving the company and possibly going to AAA, WWE added him to the WWE Studios Flintstones movie which will be out around WrestleMania 31 next year.

WWE hasn’t used or referenced Mysterio on TV lately because of the speculation. Mysterio is expected to be back on TV soon with a new deal.

ORIGINAL: In an interview with Super Luchas, Rey Mysterio denied rumors that he will leave WWE and go to AAA.

He said: “I have nothing against AAA, but I do not plan to go there. I want to stay in the WWE because it’s my home and where I want to end my career.”

He also said that while his Wrestlemania XXX match isn’t set, he believes he wil be in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. AAA has expressed interest in Mysterio whenever his contract comes up but he chose to remain in WWE.
