— As noted several days ago here on the website, the E! Network has ordered another ten episodes of WWE Total Divas. A press release was then issued by the E! Network and WWE announcing that season three would debut with Rosa Mendes being added to the cast.
For what it’s worth, the E! Network was paying an estimated $470,000 per episode for seasons one and two. WWE was spending nearly $400,000 per episode to produce the show so they weren’t making all that much money on it. It’s rumored that WWE may have charged the E! Network more money for the new season three episodes.
— As noted earlier here on the website, the original plan for the Natalya vs. Charlotte match for the vacant NXT women’s title on th WWE Network Takeover live special on May 29 was to have Bret Hart and Ric Flair appear in the corner of their respective family members for the match. Hart reportedly had an issue that made it impossible to appear at the event. The plan is now to just have Flair in Charlotte’s corner. There was said to be discussion of having Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, Nattie’s father, used in Hart’s role, but most believe that won’t happen.
Additionally, Bret Hart has yet to sign a new Legends contract with WWE.
