— John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton and Seth Rollins is being advertised for this Friday night’s WWE live event at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Randy Orton vs. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs. John Cena in singles matches were originally scheduled for the event. Also advertised for the show is a Cesaro vs. Sheamus United States Title match.
— Several filmmakers are currently in India shooting a movie about famous Indian wrestler Gama Pelhalwan. Some media outlets in India are reporting that Triple H, John Cena and Kurt Angle were approached to appear in the film but those reports are unconfirmed as of this writing.
— As noted late last night here on the website, don’t expect to see any of the cast members from Total Divas win the title anytime soon. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon has a standing rule that no one form the show can hold the Divas Championship. Brie Bella let it slip once in an interview and the rule is, as of now, still the case.
There was some speculation that McMahon would lift his rule and allow Nikki Bella to win the title, but instead they switched to the feud over who has the rights to the Bella surname.
It was added that there’s frustration with McMahon over how he wants the shows booked for the Divas, as some weeks he wants the wrestling shows to line up with Total Divas and other weeks it doesn’t matter at all.
