As most of us would expect, WWE is in a major rewrite of their booking plans following Seth Rollins’ injury. The Wrestling Observer reports that the company is no longer considering a Rollins vs. Triple H match at WrestleMania, as it is almost certain that Rollins will miss the show with his six to nine month return prognosis. Rollins still would have been in the title picture whether he won or lost at Survivor Series and would have been a main event focus heading into Mania.
Brock Lesnar may be one of the big names that WWE is contacting to appear due to the injury. Lesnar wasn’t scheduled to return for a while and is currently in Alberta, Canada on a hunting trip so he may not choose to return, but WWE is likely hoping to get him back ASAP. His next currently-scheduled appearance is next month at a Los Angeles house show.
