Various: Big E and Rey Mysterio Injury Updates, NJPW Best of Super Jrs Night 7

Big E WWE Status and Health Update

Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert reported that while Big E made his WWE return from injury during last night’s episode of Smackdown Live, he has yet to be medically cleared for any in-ring action. It was also reported that it is currently unknown when he will be officially cleared in order to be able to compete again.

Big E had been out of action for WWE since suffering a knee injury on the April 10th episode of SmackDown.

Rey Mysterio Health Update

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Rey Mysterio was seen this past Monday in Birmingham, Alabama and the likely reason for this visit was to get his injured shoulder medically examined and diagnosed for potential surgery and rehab options.
