The Revival asked for their releases from WWE again over the Royal Rumble weekend, according to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live. Fightful also said that they were able to confirm the report.
They first requested their releases back in January 2019, but WWE denied them.
Dawson’s contract expires some time around April, while Wilder’s is around June because of time that WWE added due to injuries.
WWE has made them a few offers to re-sign since their initial release request, but they haven’t accepted them yet, telling WWE “we’ll let you know,” according to Fightful. As late as January 10, WWE came back with a new offer with reduced dates also, Fightful says.
If we settle, you guys say we’re lazy & complacent. If we try to be better, you guys say we’re whining & complaining.
Make up your mind.
