AEW Collision Taping Spoilers for April 6th Episode – AEW Tag Titles Tournament Finals Set, Two Talents Make Surprise AEW Returns

AEW held a new television taping for AEW Collision on Wednesday at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

This taping will be for this Saturday’s episode on April 6th.

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, the Finals for AEW’s Tag Team Championship tournament were officially set following FTR defeating Top Flight in a Semifinal Round match. FTR will be facing off against The Young Bucks in the Finals at AEW’s Dynasty event later this month to crown new AEW Tag Team Champions.

In regards to surprise appearances and returns, Yuka Sakazaki made her official return at tonight’s tapings. Sakazaki competed in a singles match against Trish Adora, which was won by Sakazaki. This was Sakazaki’s first appearance in AEW since February of 2023.

Anthony Ogogo also made his surprise return to AEW. Following Chris Jericho & HOOK defeating Shane Taylor Promotions in a tag team match, Ogogo made his surprise return and helped Shane Taylor Promotions attack Jericho and HOOK. This was Ogogo’s first appearance since this past August’s AEW All In event.

  • AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinal Round match – FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) defeated Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin)
  • PAC defeated a local talent. Following the match, PAC gave a promo stating that he was done waiting for opportunities and would take things into his own hands. PAC issued a challenge to Kazuchika Okada.
  • Chris Jericho & Hook defeated Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty). Following the match, Anthony Ogogo made his surprise return and came out to the ring attacking Jericho and HOOK leading to Taylor and Moriarty joining in on the attack.
  • Trios match – House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Brody King, & Malakai Black) defeated Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal, & Bryan Keith. Following the match, Adam Copeland ran out through the crowd to attack House of Black only for HoB to attack him instead. This led to Mark Briscoe and FTR running out to try to save Copeland only for the Young Bucks to ambush attack them. While the Young Bucks were occupied with FTR, Briscoe managed to get to Copeland and helped him take out HoB while FTR managed to get the upper hand over the Young Bucks.
  • Yuka Sakazaki defeated Trish Adora. Following the match, Serena Deeb came out and stared down Sakazaki.
  • Claudio Castagnoli defeated The Butcher
  • Penta El Zero Miedo defeated Komander
