I want to do a lot of things, but wrestling, I’m definitely going to continue, so you will be seeing me. So keep your eyes peeled and stay tuned, because the transformation is going to be something serious. I don’t like to talk about it. I like to be about it.”

Jackson also gave her thoughts about her goals for her wrestling career.

“What is still on my bucket list is having a storyline I could sink my teeth into and show depth in my character. Also, holding a title. You know what I’m saying? I want to hold gold. So that’s definitely going to continue to be my goal.”

WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque also announced during Saturday’s Backlash 2025 post-show press conference that this year’s event was the highest grossing domestic Backlash event in Backlash series history. Levesque also stated that the early viewership numbers and data for the event was strong.

As noted before, Saturday’s WWE Backlash 2025 event featured former New Japan Pro Wrestling talent Jeff Cobb making his surprise official WWE debut. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Cobb took around four to five flights from Japan over the last day and a half and arrived in St. Louis in Saturday morning. Those spoken to stated that Cobb then stayed hidden until it was time for him to make his surprise debut to prevent it from being leaked early. In regards to brand designation, Johnson reported that Cobb will be working for the SmackDown brand going forward.

As noted before, this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Dayton, Ohio featured John Cena being involved in an incident revolving around a fan in the crowd tossing an empty beer bottle at him in the ring. WWE filed a new trademark for “JC Mateo” on May 10th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

As noted before, Braun Strowman was released from WWE earlier this month as part of a larger batch of talent releases. Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that the reason for Strowman’s release was due to a combination of his high salary and injuries issues. During the WWE Backlash 2025 pre-show event, co-panelist Big E gave his thoughts about how he wants fans and people to give women wrestlers the same grace and praise as male wrestlers when it comes to them performing at an older age. Big E stated “So much of the narrative is, is this a passing of the torch moment? Becky talks a lot about age and the way we talk about age with women and the way we talk about age with the men. For a lot of women who are in their late 30s it’s, ‘Oh, are you winding down? Are you ready to get out?’ It feels like 75% of the male side is 38, 39, 40, 45. Let’s give the women the same honor and same grace as well.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

In a recent new video released by WWE, Randy Orton gave his thoughts about his RKO counter to Matt Sydal’s Shooting Star Press during their match in 2010 is his favorite RKO moment of all-time. Orton stated “So I’m gonna say.. this is probably the most famous one I’ve done. This would be.. might be tied for one. But I think I’m going to go with one on this. Oh, and I have to give him props because it was all him. He can put that shooting star press anywhere. Hitting these guys with an RKO out of nowhere or out of the air, it’s all about the timing. So I think because of the timing, it’s hard to say because it’s this one and another one that I’m assuming you’re going to show me next. would be tied for one in my opinion. I’m gonna go with one only because this was the first time that I did anything crazy like that with the RKO.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

As noted before, Indi Hartwell was released by WWE this past November and recently signed with TNA Wrestling. In a recent interview with the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, Hartwell gave her thoughts about if she is interested in a potential return to WWE in the future and if her signing with TNA is meant to be a path to her returning to WWE. Hartwell stated “It’s not my intention right now to sign with TNA so I can go back to NXT. I went to TNA because TNA is a company I grew up watching, and I’m genuinely a huge fan of TNA, and I feel like that’s where I can thrive the most. I’m only 28. I do feel like there is a path back to WWE, someday. I’m not closing the door on that. All my friends are still there, and there is a lot I didn’t get to do. It’s definitely something I can see happening.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

In a recent interview with Variety, Becky Lynch gave her thoughts about if she chatted with AEW talent MJF on the set of Adam Sandler’s new Happy Gilmore 2 film. Lynch stated “I did. You know, a very nice boy. Great chats. Of course, he knows he’d lose at [a promo battle], but we had great chats. Unfortunately, it was way before this happened, but I feel like he would completely agree with everything that I’m saying about Lyra.” Following the release of the interview, MJF responded on Twitter about Lynch’s comments about him. MJF statedAgree with Becks fully on Lyra, she seems like a horrible person and clearly a gross poor. Enjoyed my time with “the man” on set. A very nice girl and an upstanding citizen. However….. not too sure about her thoughts on a potential promo battle 😉 #BetterthanYou
