Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite & Collision three-hour show in Independence, Missouri featured The Opps (Powerhouse Hobbs, Katsuyori Shibata, & Samoa Joe) defeating La Faccion Ingobernable (Dralistico, RUSH, & The Beast Mortos) to retain the AEW World Trios Championship.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources stated that RUSH had suffered a dislocated elbow injury during the AEW World Trios Championship match at the show.
RUSH reportedly suffered the injury following a spot where he tried to get back into ring near the end of the match that resulted in his kneepad getting caught on the bottom rope and his elbow hitting the mat as he fell. Alvarez reported that RUSH ended up dislocating his elbow after that happened.
RUSH was seen grabbing his left arm afterwards and held it as he rolled outside along with Shibata. Alvarez reported that RUSH ended up popping his elbow back in place and was able to participate in the post-match beatdown angle involving LFI, Joe, and AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page.
It is currently not known if RUSH will be missing any action but he is currently scheduled to wrestle in a match today in Mexico.
