During Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Main Event on the WWE Network, Seth Rolins announced that there will be a Money in the Bank ladder match at the upcoming MITB PPV, with the traditional MITB briefcase on the line.
Rollins announced himself as the first entrant in the match, with the winner receiving a WWE World Heavyweight title shot any time in the next year, whenever they decide to cash in.
The previously-announced Money in the Bank match was changed to a ladder match when Daniel Bryan’s championship was vacated – leaving the Money in the Bank pay-per-view without a Money in the Bank match – until now.
