Backstage News: When Daniel Bryan Was Cleared To Return

Daniel Bryan was cleared to return for the ring about three weeks ago. WWE officials were notified that Bryan was cleared during that time frame.

WWE later made the decision for Bryan to make his in-ring return at the 2015 Royal Rumble. Of course, Bryan’s return and his inclusion in the Rumble match have fans online clamoring for him to win. There was speculation if WWE’s long-term plans of Roman Reigns winning the Rumble and beating Brock Lesnar for the world title at WrestleMania have changed due to Bryan’s presence. According to the Observer report, WWE not yet considered any change of plans with regards to the current plan of Reigns winning the Rumble match.
