Samoa Joe Leaving ROH Early To Sign With WWE?

Samoa Joe’s run in ROH is set to end earlier than expected because he is headed to WWE. As previously reported, Joe and WWE have been in talks and Joe is considered a lock to sign with the promotion. As a result, he will be finishing up his ROH run with the WrestleMania weekend event in Redwood City, California instead of the original plans to go through late April.

Joe had not as of yet been advertised for any ROH dates through April. He still has some independent commitments in April to fulfill before he heads to WWE.

Samoa Joe isn’t the only guy going from ROH to WWE. We have now confirmed that Jimmy Jacobs is set to join WWE in a creative capacity.

Jacobs will be written out of ROH storylines soon and is expected to start with WWE after WrestleMania 31. The belief is that Jacobs will start working with NXT, though that isn’t confirmed.
