WWE SmackDown Rating Drops, Andre The Giant Profiled, More

— Last night’s episode of WWE Smackdown was hurt by March Madness, as it slipped a bit in the ratings. The show drew 2.51 million viewers and a 0.77 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, down 3% and 5% from last week’s 2.60 million and 0.81 demo rating.

The show ranked third among cable shows for the night behind the two NCAA tournament games on TBS.

— The Shining Wizards Podcast has a new entry, which is a tribute to Lanny Poffo. The special podcast is titled “Wrestling With Genius – A Tribute To Lanny Poffo: The Shining Wizards Wrestling Podcast” and includes readings from his book Wrestling With Rhyme as well as original creations and stories. Among the participants in the podcast were Ethan Carter III, Brian Myers (Curt Hawkins), PJ Black (Justin Gabriel), The Blue Meanie, Steve Corino, Bill Apter, Dan Maff, Zach Gowen and Gregory Iron.
