— The judge Hulk Hogan/Gawker.com legal battle has ruled that Hogan can wear a plain bandanna during the trial but can only use his real name. The jury will be able to see the complete thirty-minute video, but it will be blocked from the public and media. He said he wouldn’t let the trial become a “carnival”.
— The Houston Chronicle spoke with WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt about the lawsuit against the company from the family of Matt “Doink the Clown” Osbourne. The suit claims that Osbourne worked for the WWF from 1985 to 1997, but that’s not the case. Osbourne worked there from 1985-1986 and then from late 1992 to late 1993 as Doink. He returned for one show in 1997. McDevitt has filed a motion to bring the lawsuit to Connecticut instead of Texas, where it was filed. Osbourne’s contract stated that any legal issues would be settled in CT.
