SmackDown completed the full set of wrestling shows dropping in audience last week. The Thursday episode drew 2.265 million viewers and a 0.58 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are down 9% and 8% from last week’s 2.496 million and 0.63 demo rating, and cap off a week where all three WWE shows on cable, Impact and ROH all dropped from the previous week.
SmackDown’s rating was the lowest since the December 19th episode drew 1.995 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, although that episode was a replay from a live SmackDown airing. The previous low from that was a year ago, when the July 4th, 2014 episode brought in 1.881 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating.
Despite the drop, SmackDown was still the highest-rated cable show for the night, ahead of A&E’s Beyond Scared Straight with 1.224 million viewers and a 0.51 demo rating. Viewership was largely down across television.
